Dr. David Pratt, P.E.

David Pratt is an Associate Professor and the Graduate Program Director in the School of Industrial
Engineering and Management at Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK. He has over twelve years of technical and managerial
experience in the petroleum, aerospace, and pulp & paper industries. His research and teaching interests include advanced
modeling environments, manufacturing systems design, economic analysis, and the assurance sciences. He is a registered Professional
Engineer, an APICS Certified Fellow in Production and Inventory Management, and an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer. He is a
member of IIE, NSPE, APICS, TIMS, and ASQ. Dr. Pratt has been a principal or co-principal investigator for over $1,000,000
worth of research funding, has co-authored an engineering economy text book, has authored or co-authored 16 technical papers
or book chapters, and has taught multiple industry workshops on the subjects of enterprise integration and life cycle costing.
He has chaired or co-chaired 20 Masters theses or creative components and 3 doctoral dissertations. In 1992 he was co-recipient
of the Institute of Industrial Engineers Outstanding Technical Paper Award.
