Admission to the Engineering and Technology Management (ETM) Program at Oklahoma State University (OSU) requires that an applicant first be admitted to the Graduate College. After an application satisfies the requirements of the graduate college it is referred to the ETM office for review.
Requirements 1) Graduate Application for Admission
You can apply online or download an application for all OSU graduate degree programs. To apply online, visit https://app.it.okstate.edu/gradcollege/ and click the ‘Create a Sign-in Account’ link to create an account. Once your account has been created, you can create and submit your application online.

2) Application Fee
The non-refundable application fee for domestic students is $40 for the first application and $25 for each additional application. For International applicants, the non-refundable application fee is US $75.00 for the first application and US $25.00 for each additional applications submitted. If you apply using the online application, then at the end of the application, you will be given the choice to submit your application with or without a payment. You can pay your nonrefundable application fee online using your Visa or Mastercard, but online payment is optional. If you choose to submit without paying online, you will have to mail a check or money order made payable to Oklahoma State University. This payment must be received in the Graduate College before we can process your application. All international payments must be made in U.S. Dollars and drawn on or payable through a US Bank.
3) Official Copy of Transcript(s)
To complete the online application process you will be asked to submit official transcripts from each college and university you have attended. To be valid all transcripts/marksheets must be official with the college's or registrar's original seal and should show degrees completed. While separate transcripts are preferred, transfer credits from other colleges and universities listed on a transcript may be acceptable for application purposes if they show specific course numbers, titles, credit hours, and grades. Applicants are responsible for contacting each university/college and requesting official transcripts.

A) Application Form
The “OSU Engineering and Technology Management Program Application” form requests information regarding your personal history, academic preparation, and work experience. You may complete either the online application or the downloadable version. B) Supporting Documents
Please submit one of the following that helps to support your professional experience and suitability for the ETM program 1) Statement of Qualifications, Goals, and Objectives
Prepare a one-page, typewritten, double-spaced essay that includes the following:
- What are your career goals?
- Why are you applying to Oklahoma State University's MSETM Program?
- How will an MSETM degree aid you in achieving these goals?
- What personal strengths will help you attain your goals?
- What personal challenges do you face to attain your goals?
and/or
2) A current professional resume.
Application Submission Guidelines
Applications are processed year-round as they are received. Your help in filing your application at least two weeks prior to the start date of any course in which you intend to enroll is appreciated.
The application review process begins when the MSETM Program receives your complete application package. You may expect to be notified of the admission decision within one week after your completed application package is received.
